Romero Canyon Trail
Santa Catalina Mountains, Arizona

Romero canyon has a lot of waterfalls and carved out pools to relax by or possibly take a swim in. The trail is well marked and maintained and is about 13.5 files round-trip with a moderate elevation gain, mostly in the last couple of miles. At the end of the canyon, the trail reaches Romero pass and merges with others in the Catalina network. Hiking to the pass is a truly rewarding experience because you can see expansive views down the west fork of Sabino canyon on one side and down Romero canyon on the other.
